Hey Friends,
So, I was working out today at our lovely Campus Recreation facility and flipping through the channels on the TV when I saw… my face! As I looked around awkwardly to see if anyone noticed me watching myself (I imagined the Carly Simon hit “You’re So Vain” entering into my life soundtrack) I noticed how empty the rec center was. The reminder that the campus was deserted during spring break hit me like a load of bricks. Yeah, it was great that the story was airing, but why did they have to air it during spring break when fewer people would see it?
My hope is that this episode airs next week as well. (And I’m assuming it will, at least for a day.) Don’t get me wrong, I’m not assuming foul play. It was just bad timing for us.
*sigh* Such is life. We’ll push forward, and plan for a great demonstration. (As soon as the piece of paper gets approved.)
